Can I use real pucks?

Yes. The surface is made for regular black pucks and gives a glide close to real ice. No wax, no water and no preparation needed.

Can it stay outside?

It is UV treated and weatherproof, so it handles outdoor use. For the longest life, roll it up and bring it in when you are not training for a while.

Will it lie flat?

Yes. At 3 mm it settles flat within a short time of rolling it out. Leaving it out in the sun for an hour speeds that up.

What can I train on it?

Shooting, passing, saucer passes and stickhandling. Pair it with a passer or a shooting tarp to build a full station.

Does it scratch the floor underneath?

No. The underside is smooth and sits on the floor without adhesive, so it lifts off cleanly.
